Tobi Fong M.OMSc.

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Tobi is Restore Integrative Health’s  Osteopathic Manual Practitioner.   Tobi’s formal training was rooted in the treatment principles of Classical Osteopathy which included 1000 hours of supervised clinical training.

Having grown up in Toronto and the GTA, Tobi is committed to helping others and
contributing to the community.  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, attending events and shows in Toronto, and spending time with friends and family.

Tobi takes a holistic approach to the body. Her focus during each treatment is the interrelationship between structure and function of the body. Through the understanding of mechanical principles, she provides gentle treatment while considering how all the systems of the body from musculature, neurovascular to organ function affect each other and work together as a unit.  Tobi focuses on the body’s nervous system to facilitate its ability to self-heal and self-regulate to restore proper mechanics, balance and overall health to the patient.

Her goal is to help you move better and function optimally, which means almost everyone can benefit from treatment!  Her treatments consist of gentle manipulations to realign your body back to its original state.  In order for the body to function well, there must be movement in all of its joints and tissues.  Functional changes can happen when movement is lost, and this can lead to pain or other changes in how your body works.   Benefits of treatment can include but are not limited to:

  • Decreased chronic/acute pain ( Including headaches/migraines, nerve pain).
  • Improved biological functions (Digestion, elimination, urination, circulation, menstruation, breathing, sleep, reproduction, etc.).
  • Decreased general stress, anxiety etc.
  • Improved range of motion/mobility & stability of joints & ligaments (Decreasing potential for injury and/or pain).
  • Decreased muscle tension
  • Improvement of overall posture and movement mechanics.

Tobi completed an extensive 4-year program and earned her Masters of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc.).  She is a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA) which is committed to rigorous professional standards and is recognized by the Canadian insurance industry.
