Naturopathic Medicine

with Dr. Sue Love ND and Dr. Sapna Flower ND

Naturopathic medicine involves a functional medicine approach to healthcare, using evidence-based testing and treatments. Whatever your concern is, we are equipped with safe and effective solutions to help you get to the root of your issue. We are more than happy to work with your medical doctor or any other health care provider in your circle of care.

Naturopathic Doctors undergo an intense 4 years of full time post-graduate medical training, and are regulated under the the Regulated Health Practitioners Act (RHPA) in Ontario.

Dr. Sue and Dr. Sapna excel in advising their patients with the most up-to-date in Clinical Nutrition, evidence-based Botanical Medicine (plant based medicine), objective Lab Testing, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Both ND’s have also completed the prescribing and therapeutics examination, meaning they can administer B12 injections and prescribe bioidentical hormones and dessicated thyroid.

We are able to address many health concerns, and with close to a decade of experience we have designed 4 amazing programs to address the most common conditions we see in practice.

Chiropractic Care

with Dr. Daniel Corallo DC and Dr. Allyshia Daley DC

One of the largest primary-contact regulated health care professions in Ontario, Chiropractic is a drug-free, non-invasive and hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuro-musculoskeletal system – essentially the nerves, bones, muscles, ligaments and fascia that affect the way our brain and body function optimally.

The Chiropractors at Restore see everyone from pregnancy to babies straight through to the elderly. For many conditions, such as lower back, neck pain and headaches, Chiropractic care is frequently the primary and most effective method of treatment. Our chiropractors are Webster trained as well as offer contemporary acupuncture. Where other medical conditions exist, Chiropractic care may complement or support medical treatment by relieving the neuro-musculoskeletal aspects associated with the condition.

Osteopathic Manual Therapy

with Laetitia Mauny D.O.F

Osteopathy is a treatment philosophy which seeks to identify areas of the body that are restricted or constricted and then gently ease these restrictions so that normal function can resume. It is a drugless, hands-on, non-invasive method of assessment and treatment.

Osteopathy applies the knowledge of the structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of the body, to all diseases, disorders and dysfunctions. Osteopathic Manual Practitioners use their hands and provide a gentle “manual” approach, consistent with the osteopathic philosophy, to identify the causative factor of the problem and restore order to all of the systems: musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, reproductive, or nervous system.

Osteopathy can help with:

  • Babies with plagiocephaly, torticollis, Acid Reflux, sleep disturbances, cerebral palsy, colic, ear infections, latching issues or failure to thrive.
  • Children with behaviour issues, difficulty walking, digestive concerns, scoliosis, braces/dentistry, or headaches
  • Pregnancy to relieve back pain, circulation issues, digestive concerns.
  • Post-Partum and would like to improve back pain, scars, hormonal changes, fatigue or tension headaches.
  • Work and Life is physically demanding and can be hard on your body. Osteopathy can help unravel your muscles if you’re suffering with pain from day-to-day stressors.
  • Athletes or Weekend Warriors suffering from sports injuries such as concussion, epicondilitis, sprains and dislocations, coccyx subluxation.
  • Gracefully Aging and would like to manage symptoms of arthritis and sciatica.

Clinical Psychology

with Dr. Juliet Donald C.Psych

As a clinical psychologist, Dr Juliet works by developing a collaborative relationship in which together you identify areas for change, and set goals for personal improvement and symptom relief. In your first session, she will take a detailed history to get a firm sense of who you are, and where you would like to see yourself. Together you will address difficulties in your life, and just as importantly focus on your strengths, successes and personal resiliency. In subsequent sessions you chart your progress and you navigate your new path, including obstacles should they arise. As therapy goes on you will review your goals and reflect on progress.

In the therapeutic relationship, Dr. Juliet will provide a safe space for honest self exploration. Your confidential sessions involve an integrative approach to mental health, addressing psychological, social and biological factors. Dr. Juliet will draw from a number of disciplines to tailor client care, including Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy, Narrative, Schema and Interpersonal (relationship) approaches. Skills such as mindfulness and attention training may also be used.
