Osteopathic Manual Therapy
with Tobi Fong M.OMSc
Osteopathy is a treatment philosophy which seeks to identify areas of the body that are restricted or constricted and then gently ease these restrictions so that normal function can resume. It is a drugless, hands-on, non-invasive method of assessment and treatment.
Osteopathy applies the knowledge of the structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of the body, to all diseases, disorders and dysfunctions. Osteopathic Manual Practitioners use their hands and provide a gentle “manual” approach, consistent with the osteopathic philosophy, to identify the causative factor of the problem and restore order to all of the systems: musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, reproductive, or nervous system.
Osteopathy can help with:
- Babies with plagiocephaly, torticollis, Acid Reflux, sleep disturbances, cerebral palsy, colic, ear infections, latching issues or failure to thrive.
- Children with behaviour issues, difficulty walking, digestive concerns, scoliosis, braces/dentistry, or headaches
- Pregnancy to relieve back pain, circulation issues, digestive concerns.
- Post-Partum and would like to improve back pain, scars, hormonal changes, fatigue or tension headaches.
- Work and Life is physically demanding and can be hard on your body. Osteopathy can help unravel your muscles if you’re suffering with pain from day-to-day stressors.
- Athletes or Weekend Warriors suffering from sports injuries such as concussion, epicondilitis, sprains and dislocations, coccyx subluxation.
- Gracefully Aging and would like to manage symptoms of arthritis and sciatica.

Psychotherapy
with Sharon Girgis MA, RP and
Marilyn Awoyomi MSW, RSW
Psychotherapy at Restore offers a safe and non-judgemental space to discuss the things you may not feel comfortable discussing with other people. Through sessions with your therapist you will engage in a collaborative process where you will identify negative thinking patterns and ineffective behaviours while developing a deeper understanding of how these thoughts and beliefs about yourself have come to be. In addition, you will learn new and effective ways of coping that will help you to achieve your goals and move forward in life.
In the therapeutic relationship, your therapist will provide a safe space for honest self exploration. They draw from their skill sets in cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, dialectical therapy, motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy to help clients make positive changes in their lives.
Both therapists are trained in CBT-Menopause to help women navigate life and health transitions with strength.

When it comes to maintaining a healthy weight, losing fat, building muscle and improving overall health, the first and most powerful thing you can do is improve how you fuel your body. We’re not talking about fad diets, magic pills or extreme measures. Instead you need a planned, sustainable, step-by-step program that you can and will follow with personalized support every step of the way. And Martha is here to help you on that journey.
